# SMS Marketing

Here at Amplified, part of our mission is to help you create meaningful campaigns that drive a positive engagement between you and your customers... and we've simplified the process with fun templates and effective flows.

For SMS notifications, we've partnered with Twilio, a communications platform that powers SMS notifications for some of the world's largest and most iconic brands such as Uber, Netflix, and many more. By using Twilio through Amplified, you get to enjoy the same high-powered deliverability and reliability that Twilio is well known for.

» **To start delivering SMS notifications** to your customers, [create a Twilio account](https://www.twilio.com/try-twilio). You must **upgrade by adding your payment information** in order to send SMS notifications.

» **Back in your Amplified dashboard**, go to the SMS verification tab within Settings and paste the tokens that you were given on Twilio:

**» You will be given a Twilio phone number.** This must be added in your Amplified dashboard as well.

Save changes and **you're almost there!**

We recommend taking a moment to review SMS settings and determine quiet hours, opt-out instructions, and smart sending.
